Lifestyle Roll-In Docks
Lifestyle Roll-in docks are ideal for hard, sandy gradual sloping bottoms. Sectional or fixed docks are a good fit for steep and rugged shorelines where you may not be able to roll in a dock. All frame sections are 4 feet by 8 feet and are modular. One or two end rails are required to close of the end of the dock frame.
Lifestyle roll-in docks feature 24-in plastic wheels, heavy duty schedule 40 galvanized pipe axles, custom manufactured axle converters and hardware. Roll-in kits may be placed at the very end of the dock or at 8 feet from the lake end of the dock. In drop off situations and for easier rolling in and out for longer docks, place the wheels back 8 feet. In this case, support posts are needed at the free end. Additional post(s) may have to be purchased if this option is selected, depending on the configuration package. Longer roll-in docks can be achieved by combining multiple shorter configuration packages and adding connector kits. This allows for rolling out smaller dock sections or for continuous rolling dock systems. Note that supports are required every 16 feet and at free corners. Wheel sets are recommended every 32 feet.
